#80 - metering

Back of the Hard Rock on what would have normally been a droll Thursday night, trying to meter and find a mode on my digital that could reduce or enhance the smurf blue light, I was holding my camera a bit in front and above yours truly; after about two minutes I realized every person walking by courtesy ducked so as to not ruin my (assumed) shot. Thank you.

#79 - Insincere Waves

Driving through the madness that is Southside works today, I slowed from a crawl to a stop and waved a pedestrian across the street. Upon viewing this middle aged woman's insincere 'thank you' wave, I momentarily became enraged, then laughed at the absurdity of my expectations.

#76 - fear of repercussions

Hines Ward being released by the Steelers and Snooki being pregnant were competing news stories on an otherwise slow news day. I almost commented on some sort of interweb thread "Hines Ward is Snooki's baby dady" but then thought twice due to the fear of repercussions both electronic and physical.

#75 - Tag Team Jumper Cables

Riding my quick route through the city a few weeks ago, I came upon two women trying to jump a car. They asked if I new how to attach jumper cables; I did, but the terminals were badly corroded. AAA had been called; I was about to throw it in when another guy on a bike rode up to help. He used his shirt to clean off the terminals, and we got a connection. A few minutes later, the wagon was fired up and ready to go. The two women couldn't have been more thankful.

#74 - default pronunciation

Even the most educated Pittsburgher defaults to a yinzer accent when trying to say a word they are unsure the pronunciation of. Think 'prosciutto' 'proletariat''hors d'oeuvre' or 'repertoire'
